Acacia Premier Hotel Kisumu, Kisumu

The hotel offers rooms with a great view, which were spacious, very clean, and included a safe for locking valuables. Although they were not the largest, they provided a cozy stay. The service was excellent with various amenities available for convenience. The location was exceptional, being at a small mall with a well-stocked grocery store on the ground floor, central with scenic lake views, and offering a lovely rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant. The dining experience offered a wide variety of food choices despite lacking a solid vegetarian main. Overall, the facilities were well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant stay.

My stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. On one hand, the rooms looked right out onto the pool terrace, which I found a bit awkward as it required keeping the curtains closed for privacy during the day. However, the view of Lake Victoria from the room was spectacular. On the other hand, there was a bit of a wait until 2 pm for the room, and a loud concert in the evening could be a bother for those seeking early quiet relaxation.
